at its best!

If you are looking to straighten your teeth with clear or accelerated braces. Metro Smiles is here to help.

Mouth guards protect teeth from injury, for instance, in sport and in the case of teeth grinding. They can be valuable to both children and adults who “brux” (grind their teeth) while sleeping, or who engage in any kind of sport that might result in an injury to the mouth.

The most comfortable and effective mouth guard is likely to be one that is individually specified for you, and made in accordance with your Metro Smiles dentist’s instructions. By comparison, preformed, ready-to-wear mouth guards available in retail outlets, while cheap, may provide little protection if it is not possible to adjust their fit.

Our dentists can advise you on suitable products and on any need to use mouth guards on the lower as well as the upper jaw. They can design or suggest the best solution that resists tearing, is built to last, facilitates cleaning, and allows unhindered breathing and speech.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Respons

Here at Metro Smiles, we have always prioritized putting patients and employee well being first. We all share the concerns about the ongoing precautions of COVID-19 and are taking all precautions recommended by ADA, CDC, and Illinois Dental Society to maintain a safe environment for our patients and staff.

Our primary concern has always been the safety of our patients, staff and community. Following the recommendations by the ADA, CDC, Illinois Dental Society and the State of Illinois, we have decided to temporary close our offices to help limit the spread of the virus.

We greatly apologized for any inconvenience caused by this decision.

If you have a dental emergency, please feel free to contact us at 847-331-0901, as our team can help explore options.
